Flustered, the woman raised a hand to her lips to try and fight off the brilliant red blush that was now burning her cheeks. He, this drop-dead-gorgeous man, just called her beautiful. Such sweet words had never been uttered her way before. And now, here they were, alone (well, somewhat alone) in the park gazing into each other's eyes. It was something like straight out of a movie.
WHOA WHOA WHOA. Slow it down, Rex. That's what she had to tell herself the moment she leaned in to kiss his lips. Although he was incredibly irresistible she couldn't just pop a kiss on his lips only five minutes in after meeting him. This guy would see her as easy and too clingy -- and that couldn't be thought! Oh no, no. Rexlynn was far from clingy and easy. If anything, she was tough and stone-hearted. Pffft, she wished!
Batting her lashes, Rexlynn cozied her way up to Hero and gave him one of those innocently, adorable smiles as she laced her fingers between his. Giving the lad a good tug, she wanted more than anything to explore the area with this fellow at her side. For once, she could show off to the world that she's wasn't as weird as all thought her out to be.
"C'mon, Loppy and Gwenny, we have some exploring to do!" Shifty eyes shot around the surrounding area. Ears were perked up and her nose was wrinkling with every sniff she breathed in. As if she was sniffing out their prey, the woman's squinty gaze widened when she finally found something that deserved an attack! A bush! That bush right there, it was just creepy as hell and deserved a good beating.
Releasing her grip on Hero, she flung one of her arms forward with a finger pointing directly at the bush. "Ah-ha! We got you know, Bushymon! Surrender now or prepare to fight the adorable Gwenny and Loppy!"
A large bead of sweat appeared on the head of the penguin Digimon's head. A hesitant head turn had her facing Lopmon. "She does realize that's just a bush, right?" the monster said in a hushed tone with the hopes of her partner not hearing it.
"Duh, Gwenny. Duh! I'm not crazy. It's just… we need to practice fighting before we go explore the tall grass and seek out real foes. Get the moves down, understand the land, and then we'll be ready to take on the Digital World."
Rexlynn turned to face Hero, hoping he might back her up. She was still new to all of this and still a bit scared (although she didn't want to admit it). The raven was worried that, if she wasn't fully prepared, something might happen to her beloved partner.
"How many times have you come here?" she asked shyly. "This is only my…" her foot tucked behind her other one, "second time."
