EXCALIBURsixteen (nineteen) | male | programmer | knowledge | kyohei hamasaki The CharacterKyohei was always your run of the mill geek. He was a computer whiz and very much familiar with the inside of a trash bin. He was nicknamed Ham in kindergarten. He cringes every time he hears the awful shortening of his surname but cannot bring himself to stand up for his honor. After all, he wasn't using very honorable means to alter their report cards. He had been very careful too, changing everything to appear to be a slip of the fingers any teacher was prone to make. It was sorted out eventually but those boys still got a beating at home.
In this respect he is very disinterested in the pain of others, that is unless he's thoroughly enjoying it. He likes revenge with his morning coffee and is happy to mock his foes from within in his room where he is safe from their gorilla fists.
He likes to think himself wise beyond his age but he is actually quite childish. He moans and groans about doing the few chores his parents give him to do and scoffs at his father's manual work often calling him a mediocre oaf. He'll still eat the snacks it buys though without so much as a thank you.
He's honestly quite the bully himself from years of cause and reaction. He does have one strain of decency though. He isn't protective of those he sees himself in but rather is willing to provide services for making their enemies squirm. He would take a fiendish delight in this regardless, but he be lying he if said he didn't feel all warm and fuzzy inside whenever a mini-Kyohei smiles up at him.
He's well behaved in public because he doesn't fancy a fist to the face and keeps most of his insults inside of his head, some do occasionally slip out though. For all his petty crimes he was never once dishonest. If accused he owns up with neither pride nor shame. He wouldn't have time for either of those anyway because he be too busy running away.
He's a very fidgety young man who becomes even more intolerable when he isn't being challenged in the noggin. It was for this very reason his family bought him the game, to make their embarrassment of a son finally put his talents to good use. He admits he's intrigued by being put into a world he so often stared at through a screen and yet altogether unenthused for a reason he doesn't wish to name. He's afraid of interaction.
