x It was a mystery as to why he’d wandered here in the first place. Terpsichore sought to find new things and go to new places, so the digital world opened up a whole new plane for him. Of course, he was expecting some less savory places as he was nice places, but wandering knee-deep into a swamp wasn’t the first thing he had on his mind.
Of course there were boards to walk on, but balancing them was sort of tricky. Trickier for most than for him; he was an acrobat, balance was his life… yet he still had a couple problems with slippery wood and occasionally dipping his boot into the muck. This time around, he wasn’t wandering aimlessly, at least. He’d heard there was an inn somewhere on the very far end, and he planned on getting there before he had to get out of the game again. More out of curiousity than the actual need to rest, but he’d always been a very curious creature.
His Renamon was a lot lighter than he was, so she jumped from plank to board alongside him, sometimes pulling up ahead. He didn’t mind it; all he wanted to do was get to his location, and he’d be set until next he came along. Perhaps in a few days, weeks, months… it depended on how in demand he was.
Lost in thought for a few moments, Terpsichore’s foot slipped on a particularly mildew encrusted board and he ended up, once again, knee deep in the swamp, but only on one leg. “Damn it…” He murmured under his breath, reaching out for the board and trying to drag himself back onto something dry. His Renamon turned, looking over her shoulder, before bouncing back towards him.
“Help me up.” And of course, she moved instantly on command, taking his forearm and beginning to tug. The mud had gotten in his boot, making him essentially stuck, and much heavier than he really was. Damn; knee deep in trouble before he even got to the inn.
