Asuka City was where every single new player started. Umbra didn't have the red satellite over his head to pose as a guide, but that didn't mean he couldn't act as the helping hand of a fellow new member to teach other new characters the ways of this world. Umbra had done his own exploring of this area and new at least what Digimon lurked in Central Sector. He'd also started studying the roads, hoping to memorize his way around this sector within the next three days. He believed it to be the smallest of all the sectors, so this shouldn't be too hard.

Umbra clucked his tongue at the back of his mouth, both hands in his pockets as he stumbled around, looking for anyone who might not have a clue what was going on here. They would easily be his first choice of prey. His gaze looked every person he passed by up and down, trying to guess their personality based alone on the way they looked and acted. Most of these people were either young and trying to look older, or ugly and trying to look beautiful. They always were. Fat men playing hot women. He knew to never fall for the pretty ones.

Soon, the tamer realized his Digimon wasn't at his side again. Why did Kera always do this? His back straightened and his body turned, head swiveling to find out where the little virus had gone. And there he was. Keramon stood several meters away, following behind a tamer and Digimon that Umbra didn't know. It could have been someone else's Keramon, perhaps. But Umbra didn't need to call out to find out. The way the Keramon reached out, trying to run its fingers along the fellow Digimon's skin? It was his Keramon. There couldn't be any Digimon that liked to touch and play as much as his did. He could hear Kera from here, already trying to talk to strangers. "Will you... play...? I have... a game for you..."

Newbies, Patch used to tease them all the time in games, but unfortunately today she was one of them. It was about a hour since she just joined and she was already lost in a matter of seconds. Even her partner, Tinkermon had absolutely no clue to their location which was rather useless. All she knew was that she was in the place where people start. . . Asukika was it? She never paid that much attention towards stuff such as names of places in game, too much of a bother. Well if there was one thing that she was grateful of, it was that she had Tinkermon as a partner. Not because of any particular reason, the digimon just seemed to be the cheerful mischievous type just like her. It was pretty much a perfect team, those two being together you never quite know what would happen.

"Aha! I think we are in the right place! There's quite a lot of people here." Tinkermon smiled, while flying around Patch rather eagerly. Patch took a glance around, only to give off a rather disappointed sigh. "Nawh, we are back where we started. . . a hour of walking for nothing." Tinkermon took a look around, double checking if she was wrong or not, to give off a little chuckle followed by a wink. "Hehe, your right honey. Boy, this place is quite the maze, and i'm really bad with puzzles." Patch plopped herself on the ground, seeming a bit fatigued, she scratched at her head for a lil' before replying, "Puzzles? Never liked them, too hard. But a maze is full of adventure. This is just a meaningless walk." It was getting on her nerves that she was so clueless, after all spending your first hour in a game being lost is a real bore. "It pains me to say this but we need help."

Patch as much as she wanted to, she couldn't do this on her own, but asking for help would hurt her pride as a gamer. Normally in these kind of games, you'd have to grind at the place which had the weakest monsters, but if you can't even find where one monster is located your at a standstill. "Shucks darling. Sorry I can't help much, but lucky there's lots of people round here. . . though some might be new as well." It was quite true, since she started here, most of the population must be new. Finding a person knowledgeable about stuff is like finding a needle in a haystack. She could of used the shout feature, but she had no clue on how to use it. That was when a familiar screech was heard. "Ah! D-don't touch me you perv!" Tinkerbell flew up high as a reaction of being touched at the back. The culprit was a creepy looking digimon.

Patch tilted her head looking at the creature, it's appearance was quite. . . strange. But it's voice added to that, asking if they wanted to play a game. The voice sounded like something off of a horror movie, yet patch just stared, "A. . . game? Um, it's doubtful that i'll play with someone I don't know. Especially if you did that to Tinker." Tinker was still shocked, hiding behind Patch looking very cautious. "You shouldn't trust that digimon, it tried the touch me in a strange way. It's one of those psycho types." She was quite right, it was something that she wouldn't trust, however the digimon had a personality of a child, it was likely that it was rather more innocent than a mastermind. "Say, you have a master right. Introduce me then we play your game." Patch needed to know whether this was a a tamed digimon or a normal one, if it was tamed, she would have to see what the tamer is like before jumping to conclusion.

The little girl didn't have to wait any time at long to meet Keramon's tamer. Once Umbra realized that his Digimon's little habit might become a problem to this girl, Umbra made a move, booking it over to the trio. His scooped his arms around his Keramon, keeping them tight around what would have been his waist if his legs weren't coming out of his head. He lifted his Digimon right off the ground, turning away to hold him where even his excessively long arms couldn't reach that pretty little fairy.

"I am so sorry! This happens every time that Kera runs away. I'm trying to help him get over the problem, I swear," Umbra tried to convince her, flashing a sincere and warm smile. Lure her in. Make her think he cared what his Digimon did to hers. Kera could touch what he wanted as long as he kept his hands off of the tamer. He had better things he wanted to be doing than ending up probed by those curious fingers.

The only movement that the Keramon made when swept off of his feet were his arms extending at the elbows in hopes of touching that fairy again. "Such... pretty wings. So... beautiful..." Kera cooed, his head turning- almost one hundred and eighty degrees- to stare down at his own wings. Oh, he didn't have any. Just twelve long legs, each tipped with a little, white claw. He would gladly trade away each and every one of those legs for some wings of his own. Maybe even just one wing, if that's all his legs were worth.

Incoming tamer, It was pretty obvious that the creepy digimon belonged to him by the fact that he was carrying it. She looked at the man, analyzing him. He was obviously an tamer or a really good programmed npc, his atmosphere seemed rather innocent at this time yet something seemed out of place. Kumu patted at Tinker's head as she replied to the statement made by the tamer, "Oh la la la, no worries. It is pretty much troublesome to deal with these creatures random nature." Tinker batted away Kumu's hand, with a red face, she bursted out "I am not random nor a creature I have you know!" With a sigh, Kumu stared up to Tinker, "I didn't say you were, I was talking about the digimon that belonged to others, after all your pretty cute with those wings and that adorable size."

Tinker flew onto Kumu's shoulders with her hand-sized body. She gave the Keramon a rather piercing look, the kind of ones that meant trouble. "Though you better keep that thing on a leash and far away from me. If it touches me again I can't guarantee that it would still have that many legs." Kumu was again gave Tinker a look, but with a puffed up cheek, "That's quite mean to say. Sorry 'bout tinker, it seems she has a thing about being touched. Anyway . . . Who may you two be?" It would of been really a bother to lose the chance of getting a new friend, a perhaps persuade them to help them for free. Talking about friends, that made her wonder about her best pal, she started the game with her yet she hasn't yet to see her. With this many people playing, finding her would be hell. 'Sigh, I'll find her sooner or later anyway.'

"I'm really sorry..." Umbra whispered apologetically, grabbing for one of Keramon's hands and shoving it back down to his side again before he could go for one of the fairy wings a second time. This wasn't how you made friends. The last thing Umbra wanted was for his own Digimon to get in the way of him getting close to all of these new kids flooding through Asuka City in hopes of getting far in this new and popular game.

Once Keramon stilled, seeming almost like a lifeless doll, limp in Umbra's arms, the human finally sighed. He gave a little smile and politely bowed his head, his arms too preoccupied with the Digimon to offer a hand to shake. "Umbrascarred. Just Umbra though. And this is my Keramon. I just call him Kera. It's quick and easy," he introduced the both of them, flashing another quick, toothy grin.

Keramon tried to give his own smile. But he was always smiling. Instead, his mouth grew even wider, along with his eyes, showing all of its tiny and sharp teeth to the fairy and her owner. "We... we are... happy... to meet you. Both... of you..." Keramon cooed, both arms dangling far enough to almost touch the ground. They were longer than his entire body and always dragged behind him when he walked. It was much easier to hover in the air- despite the fact that he had no wings. After meeting this fairy, it became Kera's dream to grow a pair of his own wings. Maybe in his next evolution... or a few evolutions later.

Slowly, Umbra lowered his Digimon, its legs all bending beneath it as it was set down on the ground. Keramon didn't move, thankfully. He obeyed. "You guys got names too? Where you headed? I'm no guide or anything, but I think I've figured this sector out pretty well. If you're looking for a fight or a place to relax, I know it all," Umbra tried to convince, with a boisterous laugh. If she had someone else she needed to meet up with then, well, maybe he could help her find that person.

"Godz-", no, that was just a plain bad idea, it would be more better just to stick with her username, after all it did sound cute. "I'm Patchuu, and this is Tinkermon. I call her Tinker bur Patch and Tink sounds much better." Patch and Tink, yeah that was pretty better, maybe she'll use that as a nickname for now. She turned her head to Kera, who seemed to be as creepy as ever, showing a smile. However she couldn't blame it, it was made that way. Perhaps she should give it some slack. "Yeah. . . Um, happy to meet you." Tinker wasn't convinced though, the vibes coming from Kera just didn't want her to get anywhere near it. Perhaps it was just the fact that she didn't like the looks of it, maybe it was just a innocent digimon after all. Yeah right, trust looks and you'll get stabbed, that's the motto with her, being small and deadly. "Hpmh, Nice to meet you Umbra. . . and you Kera.Not really. Nyah!" Tinker's tongue stuck out at Kera for a quick second, then she returned to trying to be as innocent as possible. 'Those arms. . . or legs are too long, better keep a distance away from it.' As she flied higher into the sky with those thoughts in mind. She had to be on guard to protect her tamer no matter what happens. Even though it was a game. Kumu thought for a moment, then uttered out the words, "Well, we were heading to plug cape, since we've been there a while training, but we did want to try doing a bit of tourism, never looked around here that much and I also need to find someone." She lied, pretty much to hide the identity of her being a newbie, she was on her way to plug cape but forgot the directions, so she was just pretending to be trying to find her bestie. Though she really needed to find her friend. Continuing on the lies to protect her pride, she said, "Do you perhaps know any places where it'd be easy to spot other. . . though finding her among all these other players is impossible since I don't know her username. . . Hmm. . ." She thought carefully, it was quite hard to think of a big lie like this. Trying to change the topic, she gave off a little chuckle, trying to change the mood first. "What were you doing anyway? Before you digimon. . . starting messing around." She gave a glance at Kera, seeing that he was still in place but on the ground. He seemed quite well behaved than before, maybe she was really wrong about him. 'I hope that he brought that story though, I hate to be known as a newbie and a liar.'

It was going to prove to be a very big problem if she didn't even know her someone's username. It should have been a piece of cake otherwise to send a message or a whisper and tell them where to meet up with her. But, this way, he actually got to help her search. It gave him the time to be around her longer, get to know her, show her Digimon that his Digimon wasn't as creepy as he acted. Not all of the time, at least. Just most of the time.

"Do you know, at least, what she- or he- looks like?" Umbra questioned, fingers rubbing at his jawline as he watched the girl with mild curiosity. If not, this was going to be impossible. Even if she knew what Digimon the friend had, it would help. If not, there was no possible way he could find this person. Not without asking around, tapping people on the shoulder, and asking them if they knew this spunky, little lady with a fairy for a partner.

Keramon lowered his head, thinking that maybe this girl and her Tinkermon didn't like him much. He was trying to be friendly. He was trying to admire a beautiful pair of wings, that was all. Why was he the one in the wrong? "Us? Exploring. Offering helping hands to anyone in need of assistance. You sound like you might need some assistance. Unless you already have ideas for finding your friend," Umbra pointed out, knowing that, if that were the case, he wasn't needed here anymore. If she was as experienced as she was trying to act, then maybe he'd have to find new pry. Something newer and gullible.
