Times such as these were always the ones in which she found herself wondering if this was a game- it certainly didn't feel like it. Without realizing it she flexed her fingers and tapped them against her leg. "This area is really nice, isn't it?" Priya asked her partner with a warm smile. "Yeah! Especially considering you don't need to fight or anything here," Cutemon responded with a peek over his shoulder. After a moment his expression turned a little darker and he added, "It must be hard since I'm not very strong. I'm sorry, Pri."The digimon's ears fell a little and he wrinkled his nose up in disappointment at himself. Priya waved in dismissal and quickly uttered, "Don't you fret about that tiny sir, you know I don't really like much fighting. Or maybe it would be better to say I kind of suck at it?" The young woman paused for a moment then shrugged it off and let her gaze wander to the horizon. It was a little windy, she thought as she brought a hand up to brush some hair from her face. It felt so real. "It seems a lot more fun when we stay out of fights and just help people whenever they need it anyway. Maybe I'm playing the game wrong." Ears perking right back up, Cutemon turned and his expression was a little grave. "You play this game just fine! You gotta stop being so... words!! You know what I mean though, right?" The digimon kicked at the sand awkwardly and swung his arms back and forth. He started to turn his attention back to the water though meaning he probably wouldn't have any other 'advice' to give about how Priya was feeling. Still smiling earnestly, the girl took a few steps closer to her partner and flopped into the sand. "Yeah, yeah I know. Keep playing with the water or something, I'll just sit here and ponder. Maybe I can come up with something for us to do once we're done here..." Priya mumbled as she frowned thoughtfully. As the girl heard Cutemon grumbling about not playing she stretched her legs out and splashed them in the water to drown him out. "Cannot hear you tiny sir!"

This was one of the calmest areas in the digital world. A place for players both new and old to relax, it was almost like visiting the beach in the real world. Or, rather, it felt exactly like an actual beach. From the balmy breezes to the smell of salt from the ocean. Although Shinrai wasn't new to the game, there were still times that he was surprised at how real all of it felt. He had just come from Asuka City, and although this was an area that was usually a bit more crowded compared to different areas of the digital world, it was strangely quiet.

Dark eyes swept over the area, the tamer's hands were in his pockets and his digimon partner was standing beside his feet. His player pin was red, signalling that yes, he was staff, although there wasn't much for a guide to do when no one seemed to be lost. He was tempted to switch it while he was doing a bit of wandering, but decided against it. "It's a bit quiet today Wormmon, maybe we'll get to do a bit of training ourselves." It was rare that Shinrai took the time to fight, but it wasn't something that he was against. It was a goal of his to get stronger, like many of the other players here, but he was more lax about it. Perhaps it was his tentative nature, or how polite his digimon partner was.

Said digimon nodded, while crawling to a stop a bit in front of the boy. His antennae wiggled as he heard the sound of water splashing and the faint sound of people talking. Looks like they weren't alone after all - and since Shirai wanted to train it would do them good to see if there was anyone willing to help them do just that. "Follow me!" He said while scurrying over the sandy beach, and the guide was surprised, as he always was when Wormmon took the lead - but the bug digimon had yet to lead him astray.

What they came across, was a girl and her digimon - a cutemon, from what Ken could tell by looking at it. His lips quirked upward, into a smile, and he looked over the girl who's player name was priya from what he could tell right off of the bat. "It feels like a real beach doesn't it?" He stood beside the girl, waving to her. Wormmon crawled a bit closer, but generally he stayed away from the water. He would much prefer to stay dry at the moment even if they were at the beach. "Are you new to the game, Priya? Most people that hung around here were, but then you got people like him that liked how calm it was.

In the Digital World she never was entirely positive if someone was addressing her or not, but when she glanced around she realized there was no one around except her and this guy- Shinrai? His partner was a Wormmon though, which Priya thought was kind of adorable. "Oh! Yes this beach really does feel like reality, but so does everything else in the game," The young woman responded with a light smile. Shinrai had also asked her if she was new to the game though and it was then that she realized this person was staff. A moment of doubt crossed her mind when she wondered if she had done something wrong to invite this kind of meeting. It was probably nothing, she had to tell herself. "I'm not too new to the game, I've been playing for a while. Cutemon and I aren't the best at battling though, so I guess we find our way here more often than most players." A great splash came from Cutemon's direction and the digimon gave his partner a dangerous look that practically screamed 'stop talking about that with strangers!!' When she caught the expression Priya was sure to look a little apologetic before turning her attention back to Shinrai and his partner. It had been a while since she'd actually talked to someone in the game and when she realized that she felt a little like blushing. If there was any great way to assure she'd be awkward it was like this. "W-We really enjoy the water no matter how many times we end up on the beach," Priya stumbled over her words a little and laughed at herself. Even when things were like this it was easier to be Priya than that other person. Her expression dulled a little, but she tried to remain positive. Priya didn't need to think about that other person, she had plenty more time to play the game. Distraction was needed, so the girl spoke up once more, "What brings you here though?" Cutemon was still grumbling slightly, splashing at the water idly.
