normal tamer • crest of kindness • wormmon Any sort of contest or test of skill was of intense interest to Ken. Contests were the sort of thing he lived for - the chance to prove himself was what drew him to competitive play, and if the event had happened in the beta, he'd have thrown himself into it with gusto. At the present, though, there was no energy in him. Why would he go hunting for candy, fighting off wild digimon, when he had a disgusting little worm to do his fighting for him?
The worm in question was following close behind - trying to avoid being left behind as Ken sped his way along the beach, completely ignoring the digimon at his feet. He'd tried to talk earlier, only his human never spoke to him - he only ever yelled, or told him to shut up. He didn't want conversation, and as much was the wormmon would have liked to talk to him, he would rather not get kicked again.
Riddles were the way out. He wanted to participate, wanted to win whatever there was to win, but combat was out - so riddles seemed to be the good plan. All he had to do was wander around enough, and eventually an event digimon would pop right out, right?
