Her fingers bumped her mouth and she looked down with an annoyed huff, dropped her hand to her side and turned away. "C'mon, we'll get you healed up at the inn again and look for another opponent." Gizamon stared at the spot where the middle schooler had been for a moment longer. He turned reluctantly and hurried to catch up. "...Do you think he really told his guild leader?" Needle briefly glanced at the Digimon before giving a shrug. "It doesn't matter. If he did or didn't, if the 'leader' shows up or doesn't, it's fine either way. My usual experience with guilds like that is the leader is only slighter stronger than the rest of his sheep." Her tone grew more annoyed with the last sentence. Maybe it was just the level Needle was currently hunting at, maybe the pvper just needed to wait a bit more. She had always been annoyed by the limitations in the early stages of playing a game. It forced her to pick and choose her targets more carefully, something she always found aggravating. It didn't get her adrenaline up, didn't send the blood rushing through her veins or her heart quickening. "...He really sounded like he was in pain when I hit him, doesn't that bother you at all?" Gizamon stopped in his tracks to ask his question, looking towards his tamer for an answer. Needle walked a couple more steps and then stopped, a small smirk on her face. She wondered briefly if the AI had been made to well, then shook the thought out of her head. He wasn't feeling guilt, just programmed to ask what were supposedly 'thoughtful' questions she supposed. She almost wondered if this was a test to help the mods screen for 'psychopaths' and nearly laughed the absurd thought straight out of her head. "No, it doesn't me. The system has fail safes and what we did isn't even that bad. If he quits playing because of it then this wasn't the right game for him. Maybe it'll make him grow stronger, maybe he'll just stop going out solo. I don't care. I got a kill, another notch on the belt. That's what I play for." She wiped a hand across her forehead and began moving foward again. "Damn it's hot out here."

He was steaming. Some punk chick beat the heck out of one of his younger guys in his family. He wasn't going to take it lying down, neither was Agumon. Just after hearing the incident, he'd take charge and ran to where they'd gotten attacked. Information had to be fed to him through the mental link thing the game had.

"Hey!" He cupped his hands before his face and yelled around. "Get out here Needle, punk!" At the other direction, Agumon yelled the same thing -- a little less harder than Masaru had, but he did yell.

The fricking desert was a maze. Leaving the wrong way only looped this portion of the digital world, effectively trapping players and forcing them to use their items to get back if they didn't know the way.

There were a few people they bumped into, leading to where their friend said they person attacked them was going. They didn't give much info, not paying any attention towards people they meet as opposed to a way out of the maze. He was lucky to spent the time training there to memorize the right paths.

"Yo!" He called out, finding someone that matches the description they gave him. Checking their in game name only proved it. "Needle, right?"

He cracked his knuckles. "Heard you beat up one of my bros." Agumon mimicked his tamer's aggressive manner. He flashed them his teeth, his stance changed as well. "We're here to pay 'im back."

He'd let her have the first punch.

Needle hadn't really expected him to show up. To make matters worse for the female player she hadn't found her way out of the desert to reach the Inn yet either. "So, you're here for revenge. His HP wasn't full, while the fight had been rather one-sided, the Dokunemon had gotten a couple hits in. All he could do was place his trust in his tamer now, something he was reluctant to do. Needle gave a slight nod when the look was thrown her way, her eyes still focused on Masaru. There was a grin stretching her lips, and an easy way she stood that spoke of confidence, or maybe arrogance. She knew how to fight, she was getting a handle on it. While Masaru looked and acted like the type that would fight she wasn't too worried. He was still a brat after all, and she'd dealt with brats before. "A gentleman I see, giving the lady first blow! Unfortunately I'm not a lady." She was half-tempted to test how long he'd wait to let her have the first blow. That was only a fleeting, brief notion though, one that didn't really mesh with her style or wants. It looked as though Needle had gotten her wish for a stronger fight though, no matter how small the increase in power was. The PVPer swept her right arm in front of her, letting the left extend into the air behind her as she bowed to her opponent mockingly. She'd do her best to make him regret that decision to let her have first blow, even as she privately approved. As Needle straightened up and her arms lowered one of her boots dug into the sand beneath her. Gizamon crouched a little lower, muscles tensed. >>Jump, throw sand in his eyes, rip 'n' tear.<< She privately ordered her Digimon, the grin on her face persisting as she knew Masaru could see her lips moving but couldn't hear the words she spoke. The furred amphibian obeyed, ordering his body to launch himself at the flat-nosed Digimon. He'd land just shy of Agumon, digging his claws into the ground. He shoveled up sand on the back of his claws and flipped it at the opponent, seeking to fill his face with sand. In the next beat he would fling himself forwards with a snarl, aiming to dig into Agumon's body with claws and teeth.
