Dyknight had never been to Kulon Mine, much less to the cold North Sector, and hadn't been planning to visit anytime soon as he didn't much care for heights, even fake ones. Of course, that had been before Keramon had gotten insatiably curious about snow, winter and everything cold and had insisted they come here. The child level hadn't STOPPED insisting either, even when Dyknight logged off, as Joumei he could swear he could still here the digimon pleading. So, not long ago, he had just given into his partner's desires and started the trek to the North Sector. On the way, he had made Keramon promise It wouldn't try to jump off the side of the mountain for any reason, sure that Keramon wanted to sled, ski or snowboard. Or, try to, since Dyknight didn't think he could tell Keramon not to have fun, which was how he had described sledding, skiing, snowboarding and several other snowy sports.
Keramon was obviously unhappy with Dyknights command, but would listen, if only because It would get to Ice Skate later. That, Its partner said was okay as long as they trained for a while first.
Keramon was happy to train, and wanted to fight, it was in Its data, and so quickly forgot about being unhappy in favor of the day that lat ahead.
Now, Dyknight and Keramon were in the entrance of the mine, Keramon's eyes and body glowing softly in the relative darkness of the place. Even though it was broad daylight outside, the shadows here were thick and dark enough to make Keramon look much more frightenting than usual. Hopefully, that would make training easier by keeping away any wild digimon or other players. At least until Dyknight and Keramon were ready to face an enemy.
For now though, they both seemed to have the cave to themselves. That was good, Keramon could use a warm up and some light practice on the surrounding scenery. Being powerful was good great, but it meant diddly squat if one couldn't hit their target or was knocked out and exhausted after a few blows were exchanged. "Okay Keramon, warm up first. Maybe it doesn't matter to digimon, but it matters to me. So, you know what to do, start with stretching, good stretched, not half hearted ones. After you do that, we'll play a game of tag, where I'll be it."
"Keramon likes tag."
Than you had better get stretching, because we aren't playing ntil you do.
'Playing.'Dyknight thought with a smile. 'Such a simple word, nut so powerful. Especially to Keramon, who really is a child. Playing it will do, but not training. Training is work, playing is fun, and that's all there is to it for Keramon. It doesn't matter that I'm using tag as way to train, I told Keramon we were playing, and that's what it thinks. If I tried to tell It now that we had been training this entire time, It probably would never believe me. Of course, I wouldn't do that to Keramon, It'd feel hurt even if It didn't believe me.'
