She would like to say that they were getting better with their bearings, but that felt almost farfetched to say, even at this point of the game. Hell, she swore that a compass would fail her as well considering he incompetence with directions. Eventually though, after that encounter with a particular Tamer and his BlackGuilmon and winding up lost again in Wire Forest countless times, they had stumbled upon a lake.

It was a nice change of scenery. After looking at nothing but a sprawling expanse of trees and wires as far as the eyes could see, one got tired of them. Pretty fast at that. So it was safe to say that Cyanide was content, and Nox was just as relieved, if more or less for the reason that his Tamer was considerably less irritable now that they were out in the open.

"This is ten times better, don't you agree Nox?" the girl said, exhaling triumphantly. It felt pretty damn good to conquer that forest and come out somewhere else.

Timidly inching up closer to her player, antennae waggling furiously as if she were sizing up the environment, Nox slowly nodded her head. "Oh yes, definitely! It's nice to have a different view for once." And with that, the DoKunemon plopped down and lay still.

Laughing, Cyanide followed suit and sprawled out on her back beside her Digimon friend, idly staring out over the lake and half-consciously watching some Divermon. Well, it couldn't hurt to relax some before getting back to exploring.

Gizamon was starting to become use to this. While the Digimon had been assigned a personality that clashed with his Tamer's, Digimon were meant to fight. Needle had been wearing the frog down with her insistence that they were no different from a wild AI appearing to fight. They were, in a way, just another bit of game content. Tamers had a chance of stumbling on the two instead of a wild was all. Or the duo had a chance of stumbling upon someone to fight. Needle had dragged Gizamon here in hopes of finding yet another player to pick on. Imagine her surprise when she found a tamer with a Dokunemon, the same kind of team she'd defeated before. Her disappointment was clear on her face when she saw the player's name was different . With a snarl Needle stomped towards the female, Gizamon giving a shake of his head before following. Her temper had been awful lately. Something to do with 'nicotine' and her work, though he still wasn't entirely sure what she did for a living. "HEY!" The shout was in English, a slip to older habits from another time. "HEY BUG-GIRL! Whatcha doin' with a name like that when you're about as deadly as a fly?" Needle snarled, stopping a mere foot away and glaring down. Her mood had been diving straight into anger lately as she tried to kick the smoking habit. Every little thing grated on her nerves, and the problems at work were even worse. All she wanted was to murder something, murder someone. That was why she played these games though, fighting for the sake of taking out her frustration on someone, fighting for the sake of adrenaline singing in her veins.

She wasn't going to lie. It was pleasant being able to be a lazy ass and just do nothing - and when she said nothing, she literally meant nothing. Not thinking about what she should do next, about how she was going to make herself out to be a somebody in this game of countless users, and so much more. It may or may not have been the purpose of this area, but she enjoyed it all the same.

From the looks of it, so did Nox. Then again, it was still hard to tell much of anything with her Digimon partner when it was like she lacked eyes; that, or they were very well concealed. Whatever the case might have been, she couldn't tell if the Digimon was really fast asleep already or if she was just staring up at the sky.

But peace wasn't meant to last apparently. Nox sprang up with a soft yelp of surprise at the shout and Cyanide merely started, blinking up at a face that did not look all too friendly. What the heck was this jerk getting all peeved over for? She hadn't even done something for a change to warrant it! How uncool.

"Say that again you big ol' grumpy jerk!" the girl growled back, rolling over and jumping up to glare daggers in return. In a sense, this was what she had been looking for in the beginning: someone to get all tough and belligerent with. But did it have to come with such horrible timing? Just when she was actually ready to kick back for a change and worry about that kind of facade for later. Definitely not now.

Though it was interesting. The first thing the girl had shouted had not sounded familiar at all. Probably in English or some kind of bullcrap like that. With that thought, her eyes narrowed and she placed her hands on her hips while Nox inched to her Tamer's side, looking up from Needle to the Gizamon by her.

"What's your deal, huh? Got nothin' better to do but have a hissy fit and shout at random players?" She jabbed an accusing finger at the other player, huffing angrily. Some people.

Gizamon sighed and bowed his head at the inevitable. "I asked if ya thought ya were cool with a name scarier than yaself. I mean look at ya! Yer a pip squeak, half-pint trainer marchin' around with someone else's shoes." She put a hand on her hip as she threw the accent into her voice, trying to make herself sound as much like one of her previous friends as she could. She had always enjoyed his way of speaking English, even if his accent translated horribly into Japanese. Needle soon moved her hand from her hip to the air, letting both wrists sprawl backwards at about shoulder height in a gesture that was part mocking shrug and partly an expression of disbelief. "I swear, kids these days. Ya all wanna act cool so you pick these names that sound 'dangerous' or 'dark' and try to pretend your all tough." She lost her accent there, but maybe it wasn't noticed as she made air quotes for the words she emphasis with a heavy sarcasm. "It's like you are all compensating for somethin', usually how bad ya are." The mocking grin flashed on Needle's face as one hand returned to her hip, the other falling to her side. She was enjoying herself enough that she didn't mind the bits where her pretend accent slid away into her real voice, she managed to remember and slide it into place again anyways. Pretty hypocritical of her though, mocking another for pretending to be something when she herself was changing her voice to match a part. Gizamon looked up and gave the Dokunemon a small, sad, apologetic look. He knew his trainer was trying to goad the other into attacking, he had seen her do it a couple times before by now.

The chagrin was crystal clear in the slight flush of her face. Not even a minute of peace and already a jerk to ruin the day; she could feel her temper flaring and her agitation increasing with the intruding player. It was as if this Tamer thought she had some god-given right to mosey on up to unsuspecting players and "put them in their place," or whatever it was that this aggravating fly figured she was doing.

If it was an act of vexation, she was playing her part well. What was that user of her's? Cyanide squinted. Needle. Well, she was very needling and she would be damned if that player name wasn't suitable to this pest. And what was up with that accent? It made her want to cringe! She gave her partner a side-glance, an eyebrow raised half in disbelief, the other in barely suppressed outrage as the mocking continued. The DoKunemon of hers, however, seemed more intent on focusing on the Gizamon as though she would rather centre her attention on something that wasn't about to explode or one that wasn't a source of hostility.

"You're just one big know-it-all, huh? You don't know nothin' about me, so you can cut out your act. And maybe that ridiculous accent, like what even," the green-haired tamer countered, fists shoved precariously at her own hips. If she had to stare down this supposedly tough player, than so be it. Though it seemed that wouldn't happen any time soon. After all, this appeared to be a goad to get her to fight back with words - and more importantly, with a battle request. Something she could oblige to, even if this was just a ploy to trick her into it. But it wasn't so much as a trick but a half-baked plan when she already sniffed it out a mile off.

"Maybe words won't cut it, huh?" she mused out loud, never taking her eyes off Needle, like the other might launch herself at her. "That would shut your facehole for a good second at least!"

Nox returned the Gizamon's look, shaking her head, zigzagged antennae quivering. "Oh boy," she sighed under breath. It was only a matter of time before she found herself in another duel she had told herself, but it had wistfully been hoped not to end up playing out like this.
