Her eyes flicked around the foreign area. She had only been here once before and that visit was fleeting -- only lasting long enough for an information introduction. The reason it was so rushed was simply because the freaked out on the first go around so the system kicked her out. Now returning for a retake, the blue-eyed woman knew exactly what to expect. The second she materialized her partner, a purple little penguin-like creature called Penguinmon, appeared at her side. Smile gracing her features, the raven offered a cheesy wave before kneeling down to pat the petite critter. As if it was destiny, the two seemed to complete each other in the oddest of ways. With differing personalities, their commonality was the love of cool colors. And, to their luck, their attire had a habit of matching. Rexlynn was looking classy in her black, full-body suit while her partner, Gwenny as she liked to call her, looked prime and proper in a purple tuxedo. Together, they were the perfect pair, at least look-wise. "Oh Gwenny!" the raven's arms flew around the Digimon, "can you forgive me!" The blue-eyed woman's voice cracked once, eluding at the fact that she was clearly heartbroken over one matter or another. Thankfully, the Digital Monster had already been prepping for their next encounter with the hopes of patching up the rocky start. "I already have, Rexlynn," the monster replied in a rather calm manner with a voice that was tipped more toward the bitter side of the scale (not that it was bitter, it was just a very matter-of-factly voice for the Digimon). Unlike her spacey and animated human partner, Gwenny, was of a more collect poise. The purple 'mon held itself to a certain regard with an air of dignity and pride to it, almost as if the Penguinmon were of royalty. Tears seizing her eyes, the woman tightened her grip on the Digimon who, at this point, was ready for this state of clinginess to end. With a light pat tapping her on the shoulder, Rexlynn realized her overdramatic behavior was becoming unbearable for the monster and immediately released her partner. "Heh, sorry. I got carried away," she exclaimed while wiping the tears that still lingered in her eyes away. Now that things had started to calm down internally for Rexlynn, the pair was finally able to get going. Too bad they weren't really sure where to go or what to do. This was a new experience for both of them and neither wanted a repeat of what happened last time as that "little episode" was just a bit too over the edge. "Can we do something fun?" Blinking owlishly, the Penguinmon cocked its head to the side. "I suppose. If that's what you want to do." "Maybe after playing around some we can wander in the tall grass." Gwenny continued to give her partner a blank stare. Clearly, the reference to Pokemon was not something Digimon knew. Then again, why would they? "Okay, let's go!" Throwing her feet in front of her, Rexlynn marched off in one direction. Her destination, although not known to her right off the bat, would eventually become the park.
