SHINRAIfourteen | male | staff | idc | ichijouji ken The CharacterShinrai is a guide within the game. He's well acquainted with the digital world, and although he doesn't know every inch of the digital world, he can definitely help out the new players. If anyone ever needs help getting from one place to another, or getting out of a sticky situation, then the staff member will do his best to be there. When he's not helping others though, he has his own goals and agenda. He wants to prove to himself that he can become stronger within this game... even though doing so outside of the game is probably more of a challenge. While he's inside of the game and busying himself with looking out for others or exploring, or training with his digimon he forgets the outside world and lets himself relax.
Which has been overbearingly bleak for quite some time now. After the loss of his brother, he changed into something far quieter. He would rarely leave his room or bother to do anything other than go to school and come home. For years he felt like he was responsible for the loss, and tore himself down accordingly. That slowly ebbed away as he grew older - but as he's still a teenager (an older one in reality than in the digital world but still a teenager) they're definitely not gone or completely grown out of. His parents tried to get him to reach out outside of the games that he started to throw himself into, ranging from chess to soccer to anything online that he could get his hands on - but it was pointless, he would continue distracting himself as long as it hurt to think about the loss.
Speaking to him inside and even outside of the game isn't much of a problem, he's mildly responsive toward most people and isn't one to judge very quickly. He's far more shy outside of Digimon Online, and has a slight stutter when he's nervous, in a crowd or in a rough situation - a bit of social anxiety from closing himself off to people for so long. It's something that makes itself known far less when he's acting as a member of such a large game's staff, and shows a little more so when he turns his satellite blue and is caught under the guise of a player, but over all he's more confident within the game and behind an alias.
