IN REAL LIFE;;
In real life Hieroglyph is a seventeen year old highschool student who decided to play the game just for shits and giggles. Wanting a chance to find something fun to do outside of his daily life of homework, tests, and the like. He also wanted a chance to find something that could challenge him, but didn't require much thought on, like becoming a strong "Tamer".
He plays as a eleven year old avatar because he felt that it would be amusing for people to try and guess his age, when one moment he was acting like a child and next he was talking like a near adult. (Pretty much he wants to troll them) Plus it makes him feel as he has the right to act younger than he is. His name Hieroglyph- comes from his love for the Egyptian culture and his appearance is from winning a promo which won him an desert theme outfit.
IN GAME;;
In game Hiero is a cute and curious child who finds fun in playing the game and causing problems for others. He's a sneaky brat as well as a enthusiastic and fun-loving individual. Who isn't afraid to lie or cause mayhem just for the fun of it. He has almost no regard for other's safety since he knows it's just a game.
He also likes to make things "entertaining" by making gossip or outright lying to create conflict or get a rise out of someone. Sadly he's also immature and impulsive, doing things on a whim and without much thought or tact. He's a mischievous thing who's hard to tell if he's being truthful or honest. He hates being told 'no' and is very immature when he doesn't get his way.
He may be a lying and sneaky brat. But to him, it's all in good fun.

BRIEF HISTORY;;
Hiero is from the USA of A, born and raised in Daytona Florida. He comes from a family tree that's spread all over. He's considered a "mutt" due to his blood being from countless places. Egyptian, Japanese, French, and German as well as American. He knows two of the five languages, English being his first language while Japanese being his second.
As for the reason he's playing DO, it's because when it hit the states it became the next best thing. Everyone wanted to play it and Hiero was no exception. He jumped on it the moment he could already thinking about his avatar and what awaited him in the game when he entered the shop for the first time. He couldn't wait to see what awaited him in this new "world" of digimon. He joined the Asuka server out of request from his Japanese friends and relatives, his friends he visited every summer in Tokyo. They wanted him to join up in the game with them since they couldn't speak (or write in) English. Hiero decided not only would it be fun, but he could better his Japanese as well.
