[atrb=valign, top] A FALLING STAR FELL FROM YOUR HEART AND LANDED IN MY EYES Garuda had her feet in the water; she shivered. The last time she actually went into water was when she had been trying to find Kei. She remembered her red shoes; they were given to her for her birthday -- why did he have to hide on that exact same day? Her feet had been bare, like they were now, but she stepped in deep and let the water blow her away. She thought by giving those shoes, the river would give Kei back -- and indeed, it had showed her a way. The way was here.
She had been thinking hard lately. People were so careful around her in real life, she was sick of it. They thought she was suicidal, that her little trip to the water was an act of self-harm. Nothing could be further than that. All she was doing was finding him. If no one in real life wanted to help her, so be it. She had herself -- that was all that matters.
Purawna leaned on her and Garuda could feel the food Digimon's warmth. The smell of fresh shrimp emanated a little, and she laughed, poking fun at the digimon. Her partner grinned, hoping that it made Garuda a little more happy. The girl slowly pulled her feet out of the water and stood at the edge.
Kei, where the fuck are you?
The Divermon might be able to help, but it was time to look around again. There were boys that jumped into the lake, laughing loudly and obnoxiously; there was boys that had been swimming quietly and enjoying themselves with their partners. None of these boys were Kei, she was sure of it. Garuda sighed, crouched down and asked Purawna, "So... Did you have fun here?" The partner nodded her head, then came close to Garuda's ear and said, "But I would like to train a bit. We haven't... we haven't had a proper battle."
Garuda was always reluctant to let the little one fight. She wasn't sure if this was the right time, no, not yet. Maybe once they trained enough to be a Bronze Tamer, maybe only then. Garuda muttered, "Let's see how things go today, shall we?" Purawna just nodded, eyes a little downcast because she knew what that meant: maybe next time. | [atrb=border,0,true][atrb=valign, top][atrb=style, width:300px, btable] ❝ tagged ❞ ❝ 000 words ❞ ◤
