autumn had been online. the message boards wasn't something she viewed every day unless there was a problem that others may be experiencing as well. this time she saw a post by some anonymous poster, saying there were attacks of kunemon! located in central sector where lots of new players started out. there was another post, from a player named superdude, a player with superbly bad spelling and grammar but it mattered little. understanding what he had typed, she replied that she'd be joining in on his quest.
it was then that she got herself ready, in five minutes he'd be waiting and she wasn't going to disappoint, even if he was only a male, and males were iffy with her. she'd seen him around before and he appeared nice. a new age hero! and most times, bad guys couldn't keep up the hero act for long.
off the bulletin board system, there was one more stop before she went back into the game properly, buying a technique for lunamon. one that was done, it was time to leave the shop and get back into the game. anima stretched her long limbs watching her surroundings. lunamon, as ever, was beside her, her one constant companion in this game. "come on. we're going to help stop some buggy kunemon." lunamon blinked, ears twitching in fear. "how many kunemon?" the moon monster asked. "my guess is a lot. but it'll be okay. we're not fighting alone. and i just got a technique for you." lunamon remained silent but moved closer to her tamer.
at first lunamon was less inclined to be in her personal space, but now she couldn't get away from the creature. not that she wanted to, it was more of an observation she noticed. the more she played and got to know her digimon, the more she noticed things that were becoming different. lunamon had gotten a lot more clingy. she was still quiet but getting better at talking outloud, less afraid of what anima would say or do. they were partners, they needed to trust each other. anima trusted lunamon. and slowly the digimon was trusting her.
after she had spoken, anima began to lead the way, knowing the more time it took to get there, the more chance there was of being late.
first glance of who she was meeting came minutes after. no doubt he had to be superdude! and checking it out only seemed to prove who he was. "superdude?" anima asked as she got close within earshot, walking until she was a few feet away. "sorry i'm late." she murmured softly, averting her gaze to watch lunamon who was watching coronamon with doeful eyes.
