There had been a few wrong turns, but they were quickly retraced - she didn't want to stick them in the swamp... But now Cloudchaser, Rush, and their digimon had made it to Wire Forest. The ambient noise caused a shiver up her spine. "Wow, I didn't think it would be so... well, sort of creepy, anyway." Her large amber eyes glanced about the area, dim light streamed through trees that quivered in what must have been a light breeze. She bit her lower lip. "How do we know when there are digimon to fight? Is it random encounter?" She glanced questioningly to Rush, she had read something about it in the manual, but between a few days ago of looking up the game and getting her character started, and now when she was actually playing the character she had lost a bit of that careful knowledge.

The forest itself was rather unsettling not only to the girl but the boy as well. He wasn't afraid of it, more like unnerved from the atmosphere. The darkness of the forest as well as the noises coming from within. It would make the bravest man feel uneasy. "It's not so...bad. It could be a lot worse you know." he told her, trying to make sure she didn't feel too scared to move on. It would be a bit sad if they had to leave because one of them couldn't have a little bravery in them. She began to speak about encounters with wild digimon and that made Rush wonder as well. "I think it's just random encounters...but I guess their not out and about yet. Guess we could take a look around some more." he said as he looked through the scenery for any wild Digimon.

Izumi grimaced at his comment, it wasn't that bad really, he was certainly correct there; but that didn't shake the feeling that she got. The game was just too good at being realistic, the way the leaves of shrubs sometimes rustled made her think that there would be digimon jumping out to surprise them at any moment. "Yeah, if we walk further in, I bet we'll run into some digimon." She glanced down at her digimon partner, the salamon looked up with large eyes and smiled brightly. She managed a smile in return, took a deep breath in and placed a bold look on her face and ventured on into the dim woodland. "I'll protect you Cloudchaser."

They didn't have to look too far. The group of Kunemon poured from the shrubs, annoyed that they had been woken and interrupted. They eyed the two players and their digimon, before screeching "electric thread!"

As they walked the area around them whispered some rustling to their ears. That's when they showed themselves, the Kunemon. "Guess we invited some company. Agumon! Get your butt over here." Rush called out to his partner who rushed to his side, only to get caught in a shocking web of electricity halfway there. "You little dirtbags!" the dinosaur cried out as he rushed at one and slashed at it with his claws. "Hey you digital dummy! I didn't tell ya to attack! We have to plan this out! Ugh, he's so irritating sometimes." Rush said as he rubbed his head trying to think a way out of this mess.
