His Salamon was certainly...peculiar the girl couldn't help but think, watching the dog-like Digimon prance in its circles, too entranced in its own little world. Nox certainly hadn't gotten off her rocker when she gave it a nickname, albeit being a bit excitable for a while. That wasn't the same thing though, and she wasn't acting strange like Mewt's Digi-pal.
It almost startled her when the Salamon abruptly became serious to give a compliment to her partner's name, only to resume her circular pacing, as if the momentary pause was naught but a glitch in her subtle world. "You think so?" the DoKunemon said, more to herself than the other Digimon - after all, she most likely hadn't heard the soft musing from the digital green worm.
"Yeah, of course it is!" Cyanide declared with a mini fist pump. Nox merely responded with her trademark wiggling of antennae, seemingly quite pleased with how it had all turned out in the end. Shouldn't have mattered. There was no need for confirmation that her nickname was good to begin with! This the girl was certain of.
But ah, back to Mewt. Of course, she was not surprised in the least that he actually had some information to give her. He was useful in that regard. Perhaps it hadn't been too awful a predicament, him bumping into her. Maybe he could help her out, even if she wouldn't really classify it as "helping". More like a backup plan. Something like that - yeah. That would have to do for now.
"For some reason, I had a nagging feeling you'd know about the city here," she replied. Grateful for the information? Definitely. Showcase that gratitude in an obvious way? Never. "Ah, whatever. Always good to know."
Though he seemed to be in the same boat as her. What did she want to do first herself? Explore the city a little more? Or forego that to dash off into the next zone and throw herself bodily against what could come? She kind of liked that idea more. But she also liked the idea of a crutch, a backup plan. And Mewt blindly provided that, whether or not he realized it as she did. He could be invaluable. So what if he had some speech impediment in-game? It wasn't a big deal! Couldn't last forever, either. Just had to get used to the whole speech thing was all. He'd get in a jiffy or another.
Tapping her chin, humming in thought, she furrowed her brow. Y'know, Nox and I don't really know what the heck to do either."
"It's true!" she chirruped, stretched out what Cyanide assumed what could be considered a neck out toward Mewt. "Oh, hey! What if we partnered up and stuff? Four heads are better than two!"
Drat. Did her DoKunemon have to get ahead of herself like that? Refraining from a sigh, she forced a smile anyway. She was right in a sense. More brainpower. More brawn, too. "That's something of a proposition, eh? Whattaya say?" [/size]
