letter of complaint to DO staff, from garuda Dear Staff,
Recently, I've been mauled by a Gazimon X -- I would not say this is the tamer's fault (even though it very well could be) -- and I believe that the PvP rules need to be revamped. As we all know, wild Digimon has the ability to inflict pain and hurt on the Player Characters; they are also have less developed AI as compared to partners of player characters, so it would be easier to escape and defeat them. However, in my case, I've suffered because of this monstrous beast whose AI has been warped for some reason -- it didn't seem to have any sense, like other partner Digimon. Furthermore, in no way did the manual or guides mentioned the pain I had to go through. Were there any pain limits programmed into the game? Isn't there some kind of hit points that I had -- so that if it was depleted, I would automatically be sent back to the inn? Why did I suffer for such a long period of time or to such an extent?
I would like to suggest having some kind of limit to the pain we go through; don't tell me that if I believed it was a game and knew I was safe in my pod would solve it. With a beast salivating over you and feeling their hot sticky breath all over you, you could hardly remember you were safe in a pod. Logging out needed time as well.
I've been having nightmares over this. I would like to seek compensation for this please. Do get back to me as soon as possible because I've been distressed over the event.
Regards, Yoshie Kiyomizu, Player of Garuda
(ooc: would like to have a DO staff reply and see how this goes. no bystanders reply please, meant to be to DO staff!)
