MUST HAVE LOST YOUR WITS "Nu... me... mon..." the words were whispered, a slender finger trailing down the cheek of the blue slug. A wide grin, stretched all the way across the face of laughing virus, was an inch away from the petrified Numemon's face. It had been minding its own business, cleaning up the skulls that had been tossed in fear by previous visitors, when this rookie virus appeared to play. "Play... with me..." Keramon cooed into the slug's unseen ears. It didn't matter where they were, Keramon always just wanted to play. And no one ever wanted to play with him. How unfair.
"Kera," a human voice interrupted, emerging from down a pair of stairs, which creaked at each and everyone one of his steps. Umbra's Digimon had gotten away from him again. He never remained still and was exploring any time Umbra even stopped to tie his shoe. He needed a leash for that Digimon, before he decided to get too far.
The Digimon thankfully heard, hands leaving the squishy flesh of the Numemon as he stood tall and shuffled over toward his tamer using it's many tiny legs to keep itself standing. His head craned to the side, a curious twinkle in his eyes and that same, wide grin never leaving his face. "Falling behind... again. Umbra must continue looking. Treasure is... here. Time to hunt, Umbra," Keramon lectured, a giggle as he reached out with elongated fingers to grab his tamer's hand and hold it with gentle care, but tugging to lead the way through unknown territory. The Numemon was soon forgotten.
Keramon was right. It was the month of October and, for Halloween, a Scavenger Hunt was going on. Umbra had no idea what this business was about, but he wanted in on it. This was the holiday of pranks and scares. There was no way he could turn down this chance. His own smile- nowhere near half as wide as Kera's- tugged at his lips as he nodded in agreement.
"This is easily the spookiest area in all of the game, judging from the information I've gathered and what I have seen. It is the month of Halloween. Whatever we're looking for needs to be here. We have to continue searching," Umbra complied, dropping Kera's hand and wiping his own on his jeans. Why did he insist on continuously touching him? And everything he came in contact with.
