FOLLOW MY PLAN INSTEAD One more good push and the Mummymon might have been off the edge for good. But could Umbra risk that? Keramon was still in his grip. If the enemy fell, Umbra's own Digimon would go with it. Did he get a participation prize if his Digimon died in the process of winning? Maybe ShadKing would feel guilty and hand over his prize to Umbra for his sacrifice? It was a tempting offer. If Umbra could find a way out of this without having to lose in the process, he'd go down that path. But he didn't see any way to make Mummymon let go. The attacks were doing nothing to him except knocking him back- not making him let go.
Maybe, if Keramon was lucky enough, the Mummymon would drop the Digimon in hopes of grabbing the ledge and stopping himself from falling. But, knowing Keramon's luck, he'd get dropped off that edge to his death anyways. Thumbs were pressed to the human's temples, massaging gently as he tried to think this over before they lost their chance. It was all or nothing.
"Do it, once more. He's almost off the edge. The hits are bothering him and pushing him back. Do it now while you can" Umbra commanded, his lips pursed into a tight and thin line and his knuckles turning white as his nails dug into his palms. Umbra had made his decision. It wouldn't effect him in any way, would it? But Keramon would have to die. Just this once. For the sake of saying they won.
Keramon seemed to grow limp in the Mummymon's hand, his head lowering to rest on his bandaged wrist and eyes closing slowly. Any real attempts at attacking and struggling had stopped. No hit he made was having affect, whether he clawed at his back, shot at his face or bit his hands. In this position, was there anything he could do? Leormon was making progress.
Weakly, with what strength he could muster to at least lift his arms, Keramon tried to reach out toward Mummymon's face, having realized bandages hung from there. He wished he could just unravel the beast and find nothing under his bandages. Instead, Kera just needed to distract him from Leormon's advances. So the many legged virus reached for the binding and trying his best to pull and yank in any direction he could. Whether it was to cover Mummymon's eyes with it or peel it from his skin. He just wanted to help with the last breaths he had. "Peek... a-boo..."
