I thought I was nuts... it's startin' to hurt my ears!"[/color] he grunted, rubbing his ears in question. Hawkmon, seemingly wounded by the sudden "feathers" nickname, crossed his arms and shook his head. "I say you both are nuts, I don't hear a thing!" Perhaps it was something that only humans could hear, something a digimon was immune to. Who knew.

"Well, let's be on our guard anyway, aye? I don't want to get caught off kilt and lose a battle."[/color] He shrugged a little before letting out another laugh at Veemon. Poor thing, he really was pathetic. "There you go, free ride. Even more reason for me to be jealous~"[/color]

The noise was growing louder, and Harley had to cut himself off to let out a groan in pain while covering his ears. "Damn!"[/color]

The ground ripped as pillars rised through the air. The movement was more impressive sounding than it looked. Gottsumon spent plenty of energy using his Earth Shaker to send the rolled up Armadimon flying. It landed a little distance away. The sheer weight of Armadimon made it seem louder than it needed to be. It would appear that the two digimon do not get along and were fighting for territory—the territory the two digimon and human pairs have stumbled across.

"I'm glad I'm not the only one. It sounds like a rake on a chalkboard... or something awful," she groaned. If only she hadn't picked up Veemon, she could be covering her ears again. The noise only seemed to be growing louder and louder with each passing moment. "Ugh what the actual fuck is making that sound?"

The question was answered only not a moment too soon when Gotsumon and Armadillomon came crashing out of the ground. "Hey... I can hear it now too!" Veemon exclaimed.

"Frankly I'd be worried if you couldn't hear it now that the source is right in front of us..." she grumbled. Though it was drowned out by the sounds of battle as the two Digimon seemed to go at it again. "Aaaand it looks like we're in the line of fire. Fuckin' perfect... Guess you're busting rocks with your head again, buddy."

"You got it!" he exclaimed, hopping down from Lee's arms.

"... Weren't you just down for the count a few seconds ago?" Lee asked, raising a brow at her partner before stealing a glance up at Motorhead, that seemed to say "this is exhausting."

"Nah, I'm good. Check me out!" he shot right back, flexing his stubby little arms.

"Pfff-- oh yeah... you're real big and strong... go get 'em!"

"C'mon Feathers!" and with a battle cry Veemon charged forward, readying himself to ram into Gotsumon with another Vee Headbutt.

[/color] He looked over to Lee and gave her a stupid looking grin before turning his attention back to the two before them. A Gottsumon and Armadillomon, eh? This would be difficult but a good challenge for Hawkmon. The bird in question was already running after Veemon with a squawk of impatience. "Damn it, I said my name wasn't Feathers!" he called after the blue creature.

"Oh, suck it up, it's a good name for you!"[/color] Motorhead called after his partner, who seemed to be less than pleased by that remark. Motor then turned his gaze over to Lee with an eyeroll. "He's too sensitive. A battle oughta toughen up his outer shell a little, aye? What say we tag team, eh?"[/color] He held out his fist for Lee to bump her own against before looking over his shoulder at the battlers.

"Hawkmon, take Armadillomon! Try a feather slash!"[/color] Hawkmon sprang up, and with a quick "On it!" he took the feather from his head and whipped it across the field. It careened straight for the Armadillomon, though if it would hit or not was unclear.
