"God damn it! I can't even hear myself think!" she exclaimed, bringing both her hands up to cover her ears. As soon as Lee and Veemon had ventured into the Noise Desert, it became apparent exactly why it was called that. A shrill, almost inaudible siren-like sound kept on ringing out every few minutes.

"You can actually think?" Veemon countered. Lee scowled, bopping the Rookie on the head lightly with her fist. "Ow! Hey!"

"Real funny asshole!" she huffed. To top it off, Leanne had absolutely no idea where she was going. There seemed to be no one around for miles! It had to have been at least an hour... maybe two... three perhaps... since she saw anyone, Digimon or human.

"I don't know what you're complaining about... I can't even hear it!" The Digimon brought a hand up to rub the spot where Lee had hit. "And that really hurt!"

"Oh walk it off! Are you a man or a mouse?"

"... Neither. I'm a Digimon."

She stopped, staring down at her partner with a blank stare, "You're really a little shit you know that?" And at that she stormed off again, groaning and covering her ears once more. "How can you not hear it? It's slicing through my head!"

"Are you sure you're not high on um... what was that thing you always say you like to smoke?"

"SHUT UP!"

Damn, couldn't he hear it? Motorhead let out a sigh and shook his head. "Fine, just a headache."[/color] No use trying to convince him of something that might not even be there. Could be his imagination after all. Then again, not a soul was in sight. Perhaps it was time to - oh?

Two figures on the horizon caught his eye, and Motor's grin grew as he watched the girl head forward with her Veemon. Well, well, well. "Oi, lass!"[/color] he called with a wave, walking happily over to her with a predatory grin. "You're out here alone? So am I, I could use the company~"[/color] Hawkmon looked to the Veemon and rolled his eyes, shaking his head at his tamer.

"I have a crazy Tamer... that must just be it. Of course I get the psychotic one! What does that say about me? Am I psychotic too?!"

"I'm not imagining it!" Lee fumed. "There's definitely a noise there! You're just... you're just deaf! Yeah!" But before the argument about Leanne's sanity could go on much longer, she heard a voice call out from behind her. Blinking, she stopped where she was and turned to see a very attractive man walking her way. "So Veemon, am I actually going crazy or is there a hot guy walking over here?"

"... I don't understand how I put up with you. Yes... yes there is a hot-- wait this is a matter of opinion! I still say you're crazy! There's still no noise!"

"Shut up for ten minutes, you blue maggot."

"Blue magg-- mmf!"

And by the time Motorhead had approached, Veemon's face was stuffed into Lee's breasts where he'd surely keep quiet. He started to curse and flail, but Lee kept an iron grip around the Rookie and his voice continued to be muffled nonsense.

"Well... hi there.... oh uh. Ignore the beast of burden..." She gave the stranger a grin that mirrored his, "Actually I'm not alone because technically Jesus is with me....-- pff..." She had to try hard to not break into a fit of laughter at that.

[/color] He grinned good naturedly at the joke about her rack -- which, by the way, was lovely and something he couldn't seem to get his brain off of -- before blinking at her next statement. Oh, shit, did he just insult some really religious girl?

She started to laugh a little, making him deflate in relief. "Damn, you freaked the shit out of me, thought I insulted you or somethi-- you know your little blue friend there might suffocate,"[/color] he commented, raising a brow at the flailing creature pressed to her bosom. Hawkmon kept his silence, but couldn't help to utter a muffled snicker at the pathetic sight.

"Name's Ha- er, Motorhead. In game, anyway. Yourself?"[/color] He offered her another flirty grin -- she seemed receptive, this was good.

She rolled her eyes at that, "Generally it's polite to look a person in the eyes when you speak to them." Not that she gave a rat's ass about anything remotely "proper" when it came to cultural norms. She broke so many invisible drawn lines on a daily basis just being her than most other people did in a lifetime.

Veemon continued to struggle for air until finally Lee decided enough was enough and let him go. He immediately popped off her like a rocket, clinging to Motorhead's loose clothing, "YOU GOTTA HELP ME, SHE'S CRAZY!" he practically screeched. "CRAZY I TELL YOU!"

Lee's eye twitched. She was ready to bop the little blue devil over the head again, but bit her tongue. Last thing she wanted to do now was lose her cool and drive away this guy.... He seemed like he'd be fun.

"... Feel free to punt him like a football if he's bothering you," she suggested. "And I'm known as Lucky Crow 'round here... You can call me Lee though." She quirked a brow at him, suddenly realizing how tall he was. Eye twitching in irritation, her grin faltered a little. "Oh that's fucking lovely... he's gotta have at least a foot on me," she thought. "Why the fuck am I so short?!"

[/color] He stopped staring pointedly at her chest, however; if anything, he didn't want to tread on her dignity. He wasn't sure if she was one to get offended easily by such matters, but even if she didn't care, he figured he would stop it for a while anyway. People weren't sex toys, after all.

He jumped along with Hawkmon when the blue demon flew out of her death grip and clung to his shirt. Blinking awkwardly, he gave the creature a hesitant pat on the head. "You coulda just told me, I would've taken your place gladly~"[/color] he chided with a grin, causing Hawkmon to let out a groan. "Really, Motorhead?" he said, pinching the bridge of his beak with his claws. The taller man gave him a shrug before the girl introduced herself.

"Lee, eh? I'll call ya that the-- ... what?"[/color] Blinking in confusion down at her suddenly angered state, he rubbed the back of his neck while keeping his other hand placed gently on Veemon's head to keep him somewhat calm.

"Pffsh please, girls are all over this too," she gestured to herself, a devilish sneer on her face. "You men think you're the only ones that can't help yourselves, but everyone wants a piece of this~"

"How could I have told you!? I was being suffocated--" But then Veemon realized all of what Motorhead had said and immediately let go of him, falling to the sand with a small thud. "Oh god... YOU'RE CRAZY TOO! I'M THE ONLY SANE ONE FOR MILES!"

And while Veemon continued to have a midlife crisis, Lee found herself having to address an issue she hated. Height. Damn height. She was five-foot-nothing. And he was... damn, he had to be at least six feet. She hadn't expected him to pick up on her irritation though, and so when he did, she had to look away in order to hide her embarrassment, "You're fucking tall, that's what."

"Tiny... tiny.... IF HE CALLS ME TINY I SWEAR I'M GONNA--!"

[/color] he responded, the dark grin still on his lips. Hawkmon sighed a little and shook his head before watching the blue devil fall off of Harley almost as fast as he had clung on. That got the pair laughing, even Hawkmon couldn't deny the hilarity in the situation. "Too bad, we're both stuck with ingrates for tamers, eh?" he said with a raised eyebrow and a smirk, holding out his clawed wing to help up the flailing Veemon.

Motorhead blinked a little as Lee looked down and away; she seemed embarrassed... over his height? That certainly was new... "Aye, and you're fucking short."[/color] He grinned at her, not sure what else to say to that strange commentary. "You say that like it's a bad thing."[/color] Hawkmon let out a huff and kicked Harley in the shin. "Idiot, what if she isn't a fan of her stature?!"

"Ingrates... YES... INGRATES! That's exactly what they are!" Veemon didn't hesitate to attach himself... literally.... to Hawkmon, having labeled his fellow Rookie as the only sane one on the premises. "GIVE ME SANITY! GIVE IT TO MEEEE!"

Lee blinked down at the two Digimon, about to tell her partner to leave the poor bird alone... only to suddenly be told she was short. Oh-- that was it. "WHO ARE YOU CALLING SHORT? I'M NOT SHORT! YOU'RE FUCKIN' HUGE THAT'S ALL! YOU.... I'LL SHOW YOU SHORT!" She quite literally plucked Veemon off Hawkmon at that, holding him up by the tail and showing it to Motorhead, "See this damn creature? This is short! This is tiny!"

Veemon gave the Game Mod a stare as he hung upside down, "I told you she was crazy."

You realize you're asking for sanity in the most insane of ways, right?!" he squawked, trying to pry the creature away from him. Thankfully, Lee was in a sudden rage and scooped him away from Hawkmon, allowing him a bit of breathing room. "Oi..." he sighed, plopping down and rubbing the side of his head. "Woah, woah, hey there! Did I push a wrong button? Where's the off switch?"

[/color] Harley teased, grinning at her with his usual lopsided smirk. Lee didn't seem too pleased with being called short... "Hey, hey, it's normal for girls to be teeny~ it'd be worse if you were a dude, aye?"[/color] He offered her a cheeky grin, and somehow, somewhere, a wee ball of rage was having a fit for no discernible reason.

She was stuck fuming for a few moments longer as Motorhead continued to make cracks at her. Short short... why was she so short?! "Do you know how hard it is to be intimidating when you're just five feet? Impossible! No one fuckin' takes you seriously!" She huffed, crossed her arms, and hoped that the conversation would be over at that. Meanwhile, that ball of rage in question was flipping every table in sight.

"Can you put me down now? Veemon asked when he was sure that the quiet wasn't about to be interrupted by his Tamer throwing a fit. "The blood is rushing to my head..."

Lee blinked at Veemon, who was still hanging upside down by the tail, and promptly dropped him, "I didn't know Digimon had blood. I thought you were Data bits."

Thunk!

"Ow! Again with the abuse to my head! You're gonna make me as dumb as you are with the brain damage!"

"Do you want me to suffocate you again?" she threatened.

Needless to say Veemon shut right up.

[/color] With a raised eyebrow, Harley crossed his arms in front of his chest and tilted his head to the side. Though, really, she was far from intimidating, especially with that rage fit she just had. In reality, it was cute. Definitely the opposite of what she was probably going for, but Harley wasn't going to point it out... yet, anyway. He let out a light wince when Veemon was practically thrown onto his head on the floor, making Harley snicker a little. Hawkmon walked over to him and helped the Digimon up, looking bemused himself.

"Jeez, you're abusive. I hope he's forgiving or you might not have any form of protection in here!"[/color] he teased with a grin, looking down at the blue creature. "And you're just... pathetic, mate. Buck up in the knowledge that you're... uh. Sane or whatever?"[/color]

She gave Motorhead a skeptical stare, brow quirked. Somehow, she didn't think he was intimidated by her at all. People rarely were. He probably wasn't any different. Lee just didn't want anyone to think she was helpless simply cuz she was small - that was the main issue at play here. Well... that and her obvious Napoleon Complex.

"Right..." she murmured. At the mention of being abusive, she looked down at Veemon for a moment and then back up at Motorhead. She wouldn't actually hurt a Digimon unless it was threatening her. Contrary to their bickering, the two of them actually did like each other. Whether Lee and Veemon would ever admit that was another story all-together. "He can break rocks with his head. I'm pretty sure dropping him onto sand isn't doing anything. He's kind of a giant baby."

"I am not!" the blue Digimon countered.

"... Yes.... Yes you are."

"Am not, am not, am not, am--!"

But Lee let the little blue ball of rage rant to himself, shrugging it off while trying to hide an amused smile. "He has a skull thicker than mine and that's saying something! Really!"

"Don't make me headbutt you!" he threatened.

"Oh no... I'm frightened!" Though if Lee actually thought the Digimon was gonna attack her she might have been more careful about where to place her sarcasm.

"Rrrr.... Vee Headbutt!" he shouted, leaping at his Tamer. Lee only had a second to sidestep the attack, sending Veemon flying past her and... into a conveniently placed boulder.

CRASH!

A nice big crater was left in the rock formation.

She cringed, and slowly made her way to where her Digimon was twitching in the sand, ".... Uh... are you okay there buddy?"

"I can play musical chairs... with my teeth."

Harley watched with a bemused expression, and Hawkmon quickly got out of the way as the two bickered at each other. The bird snickered a little at the thick-skulled comment. "I have to admit that I agree... though it seems that many plops on the head has caused some form of brain damage~" he chided with a grin, looking over at Lee with his usual sarcastic smirk. Harley snorted at the comment, about ready to say something as well before the Veemon quickly scrambled up to ram his head into his tamer. "Sheesh. Have more control over your blue devil, mate,"

[/color] he said as the Veemon stumbled backwards. Motorhead could practically see the small birds comically fluttering around his blue head as he staggered around before flopping into the sand.

"Damn. That really is a thick skull."[/color] Hawkmon gave his tamer a glare and quickly trotted towards the other pair, hovering over Veemon with a look of bemused concern. "Goodness. You really should watch that temper of yours."

"No you are! I'm the sane... aauuughh..." he got up partway through his counter and stumbled around, unable to form a coherent sentence until he stopped feeling so dizzy. Maybe he really did have a super thick skull. But as soon as he thought that, Veemon scowled. No way would he admit he was as brainless as his Tamer!

"So why are you and Feathers out here anyway?" she finally asked. "This place is miserable. It's like tumbleweed central plus... that.... fucking noise..."

"Rrg, I still don't hear anything..." Veemon piped, rubbing his head. He took a step towards the humans only to lose his footing and faceplant into the sand again.
"Mmhmm mm rrmm mrrrgh!"

Lee finally couldn't take it anymore, chuckling as she bent over to lift Veemon into her arms. "You really are pretty pathetic... for a Digimon. How about I carry you till you're not so uh... brain challenged..."
